A dwarf shrub with 'Goldflame' characteristics and 'Goldmound' size. The new foliage is tinted with red, offsetting the golden coloured leaves and showing off the dark pink flowers before changing to copper-orange in fall.

Summer flowering spirea will flower with a good flush in late spring, and sporadically during the summer. To promote a second flush of bloom, remove spent flowers by pinching or light shearing. Pruning for shape should be done in early spring to allow the flower buds to form.
