Eryngium zabelli is a cross between E. alpinum and E. bourgatii.
Drought tolerant, it grows best in an average to dry, well-drained soil, in full sun. It has a taproot, so once established, eryngium does not like to be disturbed. Plants do not spread or produce viable seed.
