Grows best in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in full sun. Coreopsis rosea does not have the same drought tolerance as the coreopsis species. Consistent moisture is recommended. Prune spent flowers to prolong bloom time and a full shearing may be required to encourage fresh, new growth.
