Fragrant, single, pink flowers yield bright red, rose hips for added fall appeal. The new stems are green and thornless, becoming reddish-brown to dark purple with age.

Spreads vigorously by root suckers once established and is virtually thornless. Will thrive in full sun or partial shade. The rose hips are an excellent source of vitamin C.
