Common Ninebark

Lush, green leaves showcase the clusters of white flowers tinged in pink, which give way to drooping clusters of reddish fruit. Noted for its exfoliating bark (on mature branches) which peels in strips to reveal the layers of reddish to light brown inner bark.

Ninebark grows best in a well-drained, fertile soil, however, they are very hardy and adaptable and will tolerate a wide range of soil types and conditions. Prune by removing dead twigs after flowering.
