A dwarf, mounding plant excellent for mass plantings or slopes. Its new growth is green with a tinge of bronze to a burgundy-red in the fall and bears yellow flowers.

Native to Ontario and other parts of North America.
Although the common name includes Honeysuckle, Diervilla is not invasive.
This plant will grow in many types of soil, even rocky dry soils with salt problems. It is best grown in full sun. However, it will tolerate light shade.
