Cornus mas

Cornelian-cherry Dogwood

Small lemon-yellow flowers open before the dark green drooping oval leaves appear. The blooms are followed by red drupes. Attractive grayish-brown bark will exfoliate with maturity. Leaves will exhibit a purple fall colour.
