A variegated grass with a crisp, central white stripe and a narrow habit, holding its form and colour well throughout the season. White flowerheads fade to pink, followed by tan seedheads. Seeds are sterile.
Grows best in full sun to partial shade in a moist, well-drained soil, however, will tolerate most soil types. Calamagrostis is drought tolerant, once established. Prune foliage to ground level in the spring to make way for new growth.
