This cultivar is a ground cover type of Korean fir originating in Holland before 1960, possibly grafted from a side branch.
Typically a low-maintenance plant, its prostrate form can be maintained with light pruning. This cultivar does best in full sun in cooler climates and partial shade in warm areas. Protection (burlap wrap) from drying winter winds is recommended in an exposed location.
