An excellent plant for a foundation or entrance setting, this slow-growing selection has a bushy, irregularly branched, rounded habit with silvery blue-green needles tightly set on the branches.
Makes a great accent as a single planting or used to flank a driveway entry as a pair. Low and wide, it won't obscure second storey windows. Pines work great in combination with deciduous shrubs and spring flowering plants. As with most pines, this unusual plant grows best in a well-drained soil.
To improve looks and airflow, these plants would benefit from periodic 'combing' (use your fingers) to remove dead material.
