An odd-looking specimen with multiple leaders extending outward, creating a very wide form. The short, blue-green, twisted needles add to the appeal of this "windswept", slow-growing conifer.
This cultivar can be staked to give it a tree-like character and as with most pines, this unusual plant grows best in a well-drained soil.
To improve looks and airflow, these plants would benefit from periodic 'combing' (use your fingers) to remove dead material.
