This weeping tree has a profusion of tight-knit, slender branches which cascade to the ground. The foliage is deeply cut, dark green, and glossy, changing to yellow in autumn. They are tolerant of drought and pollution.
The leaves of mulberry have been used in China since at least 2600 B.C. as the primary diet for silkworms.
Forming a mounded, umbrella-like crown, this weeping cultivar adds visual interest both in the summer and winter. This particular cultivar produces no fruit.
