Five-petaled, violet-blue blooms with white eyes and dark veining over deeply cut, slightly marbled, green foliage add a distinctive accent to the garden border.
Grows best in a moist to average, well-drained soil, and tolerant of dry to average conditions. Best sited in full sun to partial shade (afternoon shade is best). Pruning or deadheading is not necessary to prolong flowering time. Prune only to maintain shape or width if desired.
