Growing & Maintenance Tips for Cherry 'Meteor'

Meteor cherry is a self-pollinating cultivar; it does not require a second plant nearby to set fruit.

Cherry trees are adaptable to many types of soil but do not tolerate areas with standing water. Regular pruning in the winter keeps the crowns of the trees thin and prevents disease.
