Growing & Maintenance Tips for Anchusa azurea 'Loddon Royalist'

Anchusa are best grown in full sun with an average to moist, well-drained soil. Prompt deadheading prolongs the bloom time. To promote fresh growth, prune plant back hard in midsummer. Plants may be short-lived, but seeds sustain its plant life. May benefit with mulch protection in the winter, but don't apply mulch directly to the crown.
