This eastern white cedar cultivar was discovered as a witch's broom in Linesville, PA. Deer find the soft, evergreen foliage very attractive for winter food and will rapidly strip a plant.
This cedar grows naturally in a rounded, globular habit. It benefits from light pruning to achieve an attractive, spherical form. Excellent choice for container planting or as an accent plant in a rock garden. Protection (burlap wrap) from drying, winter winds is recommended in an exposed location.
