Tiny clusters of white flowers give way to show-stopping, brilliant red berries adding winter colour, often lasting until spring.
An excellent, heavy fruiting dwarf variety, it is ideal for gardeners who want bright winter colour and fruit for cutting but don't have room for a typical Ilex. The berry clusters remain after the leaves fall for birds or for holiday arrangements. Ilex verticillata plants are dioecious (plants are either male or female). One male 'Mr. Poppins®' can effectively pollinate up to ten female 'Berry Poppins®'.
