Yellow flowers appear above a dense mat of shiny, slow-spreading, strawberry-like leaves. A useful, non-invasive, ground cover for large or small areas, spreading steadily by stolons.
European species, very similar to Waldsteinia fragaroides.
Grows best in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in partial to full shade, however, it will grow in a dry, shady location. Dislikes heat and humidity.
