Grows best in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade and is drought-tolerant, once established. Often listed as a Zone 6, evergreen perennial it has survived in our display gardens for several years in Zone 5, but does not remain evergreen. Prune after flowering to maintain shape.
