Showy, globular, thistle-like, metallic-blue flowers appear on tall, sturdy stems, a contrast to the cobweb-like, woolly foliage.
Invasive in Ontario. Not yet on 'invasives' lists, but by observation of people in the know.
Grows best in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in full sun. It will adapt to a wide range of soils and moisture. Deadhead to encourage new blooms and prevent self-seeding.
