Summer foliage is dark green turning orange-red, to an intense burgundy in the fall. This specimen develops a compact, rounded, canopy with an excellent, symmetrical branching habit. Heat and drought tolerant, it is a great choice for street tree plantings or small landscapes.
Burgundy Belle maple is a relatively low maintenance tree that might require the occasional pruning to look its best. Best grown in full sun and an acidic soil, that is medium to wet, with good drainage.
